Tonight I met with a very special couple ~ one that will be entrusting we to do their wedding photos in September :) S & K were so fun to work with that it makes me excited to shoot their big day! They were willing to give me creative licence even if it meant an awkward position that caused all of us to burst into laughter.
This photo shoot with the M boys covered few "milestones"...a third birthday for little brother C, a kindergarten graduation for big brother B and some brotherly love to top it all off :) Considering we picked a pre-dinner time slot after a long day at daycare, they did AMAZINGLY well!!
They are honestly so cute and such little hams for the camera. They make my job of getting adorable shots pretty darn easy. Thanks guys!!
Today I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to photograph a friend's newly expanded family. They were awesome and what better an occasion to do a shoot than to celebrate the arrival of their new daughter! Their little guy was a little model, hamming it up for the camera and it must have rubbed off on little C as well!!
My friend is also a photographer so that's always a bit nerve wracking!! D, I hope you like them :)
When L & S asked me to shoot their wedding - I was so nervous but over the moon with excitement! When the day finally arrived and I got to meet them, I knew I couldn't have asked for a better couple and family to be my first wedding :)
Their wedding was beautiful and meaningful. They surrounded themselves with people that cared about them. And...I was a part of it all ~ how lucky am I?? The day couldn't have been any better. Thank you L & S for sharing your day with me and having enough faith in me to let me document it. I hope you like these first few pictures!!
Even though it hasn't actually started yet, the May long weekend always seems like the unofficial start to Summer. This morning was so gorgeous and meeting the T family at Hog's Back Park was a great kick start to the summer photo season!!
They were so fun to work with. Their two beautiful girls and adorable 15 week old puppy were rock stars ~ mom and dad should be proud :) I had so many awesome shots to choose from but here are just a few!
I did this shoot right before Christmas but decided to hold off on posting because the photos were being taken to give as gifts. This adorable group all gathered to take photos for their grandparents - so sweet!! They braved the coldest day we had had to date and came to my place for a shoot. While we were hoping to have some shots outside, I think what we achieved inside turned out pretty darn good :)
This weekend I had a shoot that was almost a year in the making! I have to say...things happen for a reason because by holding off, Amy and family had the time to welcome baby M and it wouldn't have been the same without her! This family has six gorgeous kids and they were all great subjects!!
What a pleasure it was to meet all of them and I can't wait to do it all again next year!!
This week I took some special xmas shots of my little angel and she was pretty into it :) Fortunately for me, she stayed focused for a whole 7 minutes while I snapped several decent pictures. Thought I would share a few!!
Today's shoot was way overdue :) We have cancelled the last few Saturdays due to rain but decided to take advantage of this sunny Sunday! While the sun didn't bring the warmth we would have liked, these troopers got several photos outside before moving the shoot inside.
I have known them for quite some time and know that they have a good sense of humour, so they indulged me with a few of my more "fun" requests. Sorry for all of the black and white but I am SO digging these photos
I finished off this weekend with a very sweet family who were also looking for some extended family shots. There were 7 in total and you could tell how much they loved spending time together. It was like a regular Sunday afternoon that they would normally spend all together with a little photo fun thrown in. The kids were so cute ~ the older of the two was exceptional considering I didn't really have my candy bribery tools with me :)
