This shoot was a special one. A chance for Bonnie and her family to have some group shots done. It was wonderful to see such a close family taking an opportunity to get together to freeze a little moment in time. We did a variety of shots with Bonnie, she kids, their spouses, her grandchildren and her parents. They all turned out amazing - great looking bunch :) I was especially impressed by the little ones because they were so patient!!
I was fortunate this weekend to do a second shoot with the S family. Our first shoot was last fall and what a difference a year makes :) Their little guy, Max, is getting so big! He's just adorable and a little ham in front of the camera. I love how they want to incorporate their dog, Salty, into their shoots - something my little family likes to do too.
This past Saturday I had the pleasure of shooting a killer 40th birthday bash! From the second I walked in I could see how much work Greg's wife Stacey put into it to make it amazing. It was catered, had a bartender, a dj and even a photographer (a gift from the birthday boy's brothers). ;P A Hollywood party right in the heart of Stittsville! While the party was planned in such a way that it was destined to be a good time, it was attended by Greg's awesome family and friends who all know how to party.
Happy belated Greg - hope it was as enjoyable a party for you as it was for me to shoot.
My baby sister is having a baby in November and I am so excited to be an Auntie to her little one :) Naturally, as her cute little belly got bigger, I was itching to do photos!! We have been anxiously awaiting the perfect time to do the photos...and, I think we hit the nail on the head!! She looked stunning and her boyfriend looked pretty cute himself.
This just makes me so excited to meet my niece!!!!!!!
So...my own little girl will be two in less than one week!! My husband and I took her out to a local park to get some "birthday" shots. She was a great sport and she even willing let us dress her all up and pose her - she's the best :) I can't believe two years has passed SO quickly. Thank you, Peyton, for being the perfect daughter and the little perfect subject. I love you!!! xoxoxox
You may recognize this little cutie from my last blog entry. Little Cristian is turning two next month and his parents wanted him to have a Cake Smash session to commemorate the occasion. While the shoot was a "smashing" success, no cake was actually smashed. Cristian is quite the little gentleman and chose to indulge in the most dignified way :)
My final shoot of the xmas season was an awesome one. This family was so much fun and their little boys (one of which we joke may one day be my future son-in-law because my daughter was born the exact same day) are the sweetest.
The M family wanted just a few family shots but I think in our short shoot we achieved a lot more! I hope they will love them all - gosh know I do but here are just a few to tie them over!!
Yesterday I finally got to catch up with some friends and their little girl who I hadn't seen in several months...since little O's newborn shoot actually!
We had been meaning to get them together for a fall shoot but once we finally nailed down a date it became more of a Christmas shoot. I personally think all things turn out for the best and this was one of those cases. Look at how perfect these pictures turned out :) What a great day and it was great seeing how big and beautiful little O had gotten since I saw her last.
On Sunday, I had the pleasure of meeting up with an old friend and her two siblings...and their 5 children. The idea was to do some shoots that they could give to grandma and grandpa for Christmas. What an awesome gift :)
Considering their were 11 in total - everything went so smoothly!! They all did exactly what was asked of them and were amazing subjects. I couldn't have asked for a better group to work with on this extended family shoot.
Here are just a few of the gorgeous shots we got of this beautiful family. Hope grandma and granpa like them :)
This morning I had an indoor/outdoor shoot with the C fmaily. What a gorgeous day it was and it was so great meeting them :)
Their little girl was just gorgeous and was so hilarious!! She was such a ham...she LOVED the camera and spent the entire time performing. It was really such a pleasure to take pictures of this happy little girl. Mom and Dad weren't so bad either LOL!
There were so many great shots to choose from but here are just a few of the awesome ones!!
